AZ Women of the Word began as a ministry designed specifically to meet the needs of the women who attend Cathedral Christian Center.  God has a much bigger vision and if we allow Him to He will include us in the work He is doing.  We realized early on that we were actually called to minister to women of all faiths in the state of Arizona and beyond. 

We believe that Holy Spirit is our honored guest at everything we do; therefore, we allow room for Him to alter our plans, if needed. 

We are a group organized to bring women into a deeper relationship with Christ.  We do this through our fellowship opportunities; including worship, bible teaching, and prayer.  Our aim is to strengthen and equip every woman that we come in contact with so that she is moving fully in the gifting that has been entrusted to her.  Our goal is to touch our church, our community, our state, and our nation and bring God's kingdom to the forefront at this time in history. 

Our bible studies are specifically geared at developing a spirit of excellence in each woman attending; helping her to mature in her understanding of biblical truths.  Our goal is to flavor our world with His word, to exalt His name among women everywhere.  To know Him and make Him known is our hearts cry.

We plan to strengthen and encourage every woman we come in contact with; so whether you are looking for a place to fellowship, study, or just need an encouraging word or answer to a bible question we are the place for you.  Come on in and stay a while!
